Top Ways you can help your Family Physician
1) For each appointment, please bring all the medications/drugs and health supplements you are taking in their original packages and have them on display for the visit so that these can be checked and recorded into your records. We would like to confirm you are taking them correctly.
2) You should call your pharmacist ahead of the visit with us to ensure you do not require any refills and ensure all medications will run out at the same time. This is the best option to avoid booking another follow up appointment to renew a single medication.
3) For patients with mobility issues, please ask your physician for a special exception to fax a prescription after a visit. You must bring the name, phone number and fax number of your pharmacy.
4) It is your responsibility to notify your doctor of any change in your medical condition or medications or failure to improve after a suggested treatment. If you have any questions about taking a medication, it is important that you ask your doctor during a face to face visit as we are unable to return non-emergency phone calls.
