Dr. Ahmed Hashem

Dr. Ahmed Hashem is a family physician originally from Libya who is expected to join Fraser Street Medical in Spring 2027 through British Columbia’s Return of Service program.

Dr. Hashem earned his medical degree and completed postgraduate medical training at the University of Tripoli. He brings more than 13 years of experience providing comprehensive family medicine and emergency care in a rural community. His clinical experience includes preventive care, chronic disease management, pediatrics, women’s health, minor procedures, trauma care and the management of urgent and complex medical conditions.

Dr. Hashem is committed to patient-centred, compassionate care and looks forward to establishing long-term roots in British Columbia. He speaks English and Arabic fluently and is also conversant in French.
