Important Update for Patients Transferring from Dr. Savchuk’s Practice

Dear Patients,

We are reaching out with important information about your care, especially for those previously under Dr. Savchuk’s practice. He has recently retired, and we want to ensure a smooth transition to the team here at Fraser Street Medical (FSM).

For his previous patients only, please review the following information carefully to help us manage care for all patients effectively:

1. Communication Preferences:

We request that all inquiries, including those from Dr Savchuk’s patients, be sent via email to our office rather than by phone. This will allow us to respond to you in a timely manner without overwhelming our phone lines. Please refrain from bringing charts or USB sticks to the office, as we are unable to accept these in person.

2. Patient Capacity and Geographic Consideration: Dr. Brian Or has kindly taken on many of Dr. Yuriy’s patients; however, he can only accommodate a limited number at this time (between 300 and 500 patients) and is prioritizing those within a specific geographic area. We ask for your understanding and patience as he manages his caseload.

3. Response Times and Appointment Scheduling:

Given the influx of new patient inquiries, you will be served if you email us. You will get an email confirmation. Please be assured that we are working hard to respond as quickly as possible.

Again, patients are encouraged to email us and wait for a response rather than calling, as phone calls are creating access issues for our entire patient community.
